The forerunners of luxury trains in India; Palace on Wheels was launched to promote Rajasthan tourism. The luxury ride welcomes its guests on an enchanting travel across some of the most spectacular cities in India. The guests are availed access to the excesses of the erstwhile age of the Maharajas while travelling through captivating sites of palaces and some regal estates as you grab your seat on Palace on Wheels, India.
Palace on Wheels, an Encapsulating Sojourn:
To convert your journey one of the most fascinating joy ride, Palace on Wheels offers luxuries matching up to the standards of five star hotels. The train is designed for providing ultimate chic travel amenity to its guests as they enjoy the view of the dusk and dawns from the windows of their air- conditioned coaches.
Coaches: Reminiscent of the regal era in India, the coaches total 14 in number are named after former Rajput states and thus are embellished with vintage décor matching up to the royal era. All the coaches are decked with state of the art amenities such to ensure a satiating experience of India travel. These coaches consist of a mini pantry, a lounge to provide a feast of delicious hot and cold beverages; the coaches also has a sitting area to enjoy a tête-à-tête over coffee.
Rooms: the rooms at Palace on Wheels, India are fine examples of ‘luxury unlimited’. The 14 fully air- conditioned deluxe saloons in the train are the ultimate pleasure dome for the esteemed traveller on an India tour.
