Truck About | Christchurch Movers & Moving Company

Truck About began as a family‑run venture in Rolleston, founded by Ronald and his team to bring honest, reliable moving services to Christchurch. From the very first move, the company has prioritized transparency, publishing all rates online to eliminate hidden costs. As a New Zealand‑owned business, we pride ourselves on local knowledge and a personal touch that big chains can’t match. Over the years, we expanded our fleet to include 25m³, 30m³, and 40m³ trucks, enabling us to handle anything from a single piano to a full house. Our crew is trained in specialized handling for fragile items, spa pools, and pet transport, ensuring every item arrives safely. We’ve earned a 4.9★ rating from over 120 verified Google reviews, a testament to our commitment to customer satisfaction. The team that quotes your move is the same crew that does the work, guaranteeing consistency and accountability. We’ve grown to serve the entire South Island and regular routes into the lower North Island, reaching as far as Wellington and Hawke’s Bay. Our services include furniture, office, senior, piano, spa, pet, and motorcycle transport, as well as secure storage solutions. We’ve built a reputation for punctuality, professionalism, and a friendly, music‑filled atmosphere on the job. Every move is backed by a detailed checklist and a clear timeline, so you’re never left guessing. Truck About’s mission remains simple: make every relocation smooth, stress‑free, and affordable.
