About Us

Great Oaks Church is a Salt Network church plant established by Candeo Church in Cedar Falls, IA, with a vision to serve Mankato, the next generation, and the glory of God. As part of the Salt Network family of over thirty churches partnering to plant churches and start Salt Company ministries in university centers, Great Oaks Church was specifically planted to reach the campus of Minnesota State University, the second largest university in Minnesota. In Summer 2024, forty-one adults and ten children relocated to Mankato to establish this multi-generational local church that actively engages college students while serving the broader community. Their mission focuses on blessing the community, reaching the campus, and sending people out to plant new churches across the region and world.
