This allows for the most ideal imaging of endoscopic findings, the highest detection rates of polyps, and the best outcomes for patients.As Specialist Consultants, we focus on procedures like Upper Endoscopy, also referred to as Esophago Gastro Duodenoscopy (EGD), which usually takes about 10 minutes. Patients are sedated so that they are comfortable during the procedure.
