My name is Jamie and that handsome man there with me is my husband, Aaron, who is the worship pastor at our church, The Austin Stone Community Church. We’ve been married for almost two decades and have four kids that we’re responsible for on a daily basis! Three of those cute kids joined our family through adoption – domestic and international. Our very loud family lives in Austin, Texas where we are all fans of breakfast tacos, chips & salsa, and vegan queso. Nope, we’re not vegan, but we still like a good vegan queso. Don’t judge until you’ve tried! In 2011 I won a contest to become a DJ on a country radio station here in Austin, and although that job was short-lived it put a love for audio in me that I couldn’t shake. In 2014 I launched my podcast, The Happy Hour, and ladies (and a few men) everywhere loved it! That opened opportunities for me to write a book and have people invite me to speak at their churches and events. Since releasing my first book, If You Only Knew in 2018, I’ve also released two more books: You Be You (2020) and most recently COMPLEMENT, a marriage book made up of two parts!
