William Gluth established a small roofing company in 1886 from his home in Hammond, Indiana. In 1918, his son Henry R. Gluth joined him and they named the business Consumers Roofing Company. Henry taught his own sons, Chester, Robert, and Henry Jr about the family business. In 1956, Consumers Roofing Company became incorporated and was lead by Chester, Robert, and Henry Jr. Eventually Henry Jr retired and his family continued to grow. Henry’s sons continued with the family business and formed their own company by the name of Gluth Brothers Roofing Co, Inc. The Gluth brothers are making their dad and grandfather proud by continuing to provide the same standard of quality to each of their customers.
