Ethics Plus is a medium sized accounting practice founded in Dubai in 1995. Our high quality professional audit, accountancy, business development and advisory services form the foundation of our practice. Ram trained with Suri & Co., one of the largest practices in Southern India, where he gained a thorough grounding in dealing with SMEs. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and as a Company Secretary in the following year. He gained invaluable post qualification experience while working abroad as Group Internal Auditor with Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo, a diversified business conglomerate. Ram wanted to return to his roots and established an accounting firm (GIRI & RAM) in Calicut in the year 1985. The firm grew rapidly under his able stewardship and he was instrumental in developing a large local and international client base for the firm. Ram later moved to Dubai and set up Ethics Plus in 1995. In addition to accounting and auditing, Ram works extensively in business consulting with particular emphasis on financial projections, business valuation, IFRS compliance, due diligence audits, systems designs and business financing. His skill set are varied and he has helped innumerable clients grow their own businesses over the years with personal service being paramount. Ram is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Also, he is a member of American Accounting Association, National Bookkeepers Association, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. He has served as an expert member in several selection boards for recruitment of personnel in finance or related areas. He acts as an advisor to many family owned businesses and takes up the role as nominated secretary when required by clients.
