The Dentists in Lawrence opened in 1970 and has been in its current location since 1973. Our office is located at 831 Vermont Street in Lawrence, KS, next door to Freedom’s Frontier National Heritage Area, eXplore Lawrence and the Carnegie Building which houses the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. We are a short drive from the University of Kansas and Downtown Lawrence. Dr. Brian Wilkerson is a Kansas native, born and raised in Overland Park. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Kansas in 1982 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1986. In 1989, Dr. Wilkerson became a partner with retired founder Dr. Jerry Nossaman. Through his professional memberships in the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association, Dr. Wilkerson keeps abreast of the latest developments in the field of dentistry. He enjoys golfing with friends and his wife, Joni, rooting for Kansas University athletics, cooking (eating!), and visiting his children, Tyler in Kansas City, Jon in Seattle, Brian Jr. in Minneapolis, Alissa and her husband Tony in Minneapolis, and Mallory in San Francisco. Dr. Wilkerson has competed in many marathons across the country and is considering running one more. He lives in Lawrence with his wife, Joni, and their Teacup Maltese puppy, Lilly.
