River Ridge

River Ridge Treatment Center opened its doors in 1972 to meet the need for chemical dependency treatment in Dakota County, Minnesota. Over the past 45 years River Ridge has experienced multiple relocations and several changes in management. Clinical services have steadily evolved to reflect the most current research and new strategies, techniques, and materials have been continuously introduced. One thing has remained constant throughout the years – our commitment to providing the highest quality care. In 2016 the River Ridge programs, including men’s and women’s outpatient, A Woman’s Way and Glen Creek Lodge joined the Options Minnesota family of programs. This merger has significantly increased our capacity to access specialized personnel as well as other resources. River Ridge is an active member of the Dakota County Chemical Health Providers Council and the Minnesota Association of Resources for Recovery and Chemical Health (MARRCH). All of our programs are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and our residential programs are also licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health. Clinical staff are required to maintain individual licensure through their respective Boards.
