Symphony of sunflowers’s beginning sprung from a number of factors. Its founder has been teaching and working in the area of Autism for over ten years. She also has a son with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Once in the personal situation herself when her son was diagnosed with ASD it became evident that although there was often support available to address the child’s needs, the family’s needs were being overlooked.
