Founding Partners Jim Thorson and Gil Switala have dedicated their entire legal careers fighting for those seriously injured because of the reckless and negligent mistakes of others. In 1990 Jim and Gil began their legal careers at the newly-formed Dayton, Ohio personal injury firm of Dyer Garofalo & Mann, a high-volume, personal injury law firm. Both were on the frontlines fighting for thousands of clients involving a wide variety of claims and injuries. In 1999 they started their own firm, Thorson & Switala, to give the people of Dayton and the Miami Valley an alternative to the attorneys they saw on television.
