Back in 2005, three friends Emiliano, Denis and Francesco shared a deep passion for the city of Rome and the Vatican city. This small group of friends expanded to include a number of young and enthusiastic local art lovers. From our meetings, a simple idea emerged: art is a lot of fun, and we wanted to share it with the world. The Eyes of Rome Association was started as a “Frienpany” (a company of friends) as we like to call it. There was no boss but instead, authority and duties were shared in turns. Eyes of Rome started giving 3 classic tours: The Vatican Museums tour, The Colosseum tour and the City Walking tour, but the associates - we prefer to call ourselves story-tellers - were eager to study and put together more off-the beaten path itineraries and unconventional ways of touring.
