Tony Separovic was born on the picturesque Croatian Island of Korcula where his family for many generations were well respected wine and olive oil producers. Immigrating to Australia at a young age he grew up in Safety Bay spending long hot summers surfing and spear fishing along the coast from Anstey Surf Beach (now Secret Harbour) to Point Perron, a raw 1970’s coastal experience eloquently depicted in Tim Winton’s novel “Breathe”. Tony’s working class immigrant upbringing taught him at a young age the importance of hard work and a strong sense of justice for the less fortunate in society. Graduating from the University of Western Australia in 1983 he was admitted to practice Law in 1985. His first legal job was in a busy Workers Compensation practice acting for injured Union workers and this is when he developed a strong expertise in Workers Compensation Law and a passion fighting for injured workers against the big end of town. Tony established Separovic Injury Lawyers in 1990 and since that time the practice has also developed a very strong speciality in car accident compensation claims ranging from whiplash injury claims through to severely injured and substantial catastrophic claims. Having successfully settled thousands of Western Australian compensation claims, Separovic Injury Lawyers has achieved a strong reputation in the community and legal industry for being tough negotiators and really passionate about putting their clients first and securing excellent results.
