Comfort Windows

Bill began the business out of his home where he sold, installed and serviced windows that he purchased wholesale from various manufacturers throughout the Northeast. After experiencing some success, Bill decided to expand the company. He opened up a storefront location on Milton Ave. in Syracuse and began to hire sales, installation and office staff. In order to provide customers with a higher quality, more energy efficient window, Bill opens Comfort Manufacturing in Liverpool, NY with the help of his parents. Comfort now controls the entire window process from concept to installation. Comfort Windows makes its first expansion outside of Syracuse opening a new location at 1380 Scottsville Rd., in Rochester, New York. Also at this time, the product line changes to include doors, siding and enclosures. Bill brings aboard friend and current general manager Fritz Gentile as a sales representative and hires his sister Laurie to handle finances. Soon after, Fritz and Laurie are married, building on the family core that continues to run the company today. Today, Comfort headquarters can be found at 3624 John Glenn Blvd., Syracuse. Today, Comfort operates over 90 trucks and employs more than 200 people across New York state.
