A Philadelphia native, Dr. Farber graduated from George Washington High School in Philadelphia, PA. He then attended Pennsylvania State University and completed his BA degree in General Arts and Sciences. Dr. Farber began his medical training at Albany Medical College, receiving recognition for academic excellence in various fields including Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Harold Farber accepted a position in the Department of Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He remained there for his residency and was selected to be Chief Resident of Dermatology during his last year.
