Amanda R. Everett received her law degree from the University of Oklahoma. Amanda graduated from law school "With Distinction" in 2010. Prior to graduation, she was a licensed legal intern in the OU Legal Clinic from 2009-2010She was honored with the Larry Siria Community Service Award for Outstanding work serving indigent clients in the area of family law. Amanda has retained her passion for providing top-quality legal representation regardless of the client's economic situation, primarily in the area of criminal defense. She believes strongly in a client-centered approach, where the client is well-informed from the beginning and, as a result, well-equipped to assist her in building the strongest case possible. Amanda was born and raised in Southeastern Oklahoma; she grew up in McAlester and graduated from Savanna High School in 2001. Her basketball team won the Class 2A Oklahoma State Championship in 2000. She was named an All-State basketball player, in class 3A, in 2001, an annual honor given to the top players in the state. From growing up in sports, she learned a toughness and tenacity that cannot be mimicked or otherwise taught. Amanda retains that confidence and work ethic and brings it to every case she accepts. Before attending law school, Amanda received a full academic scholarship to the University of Oklahoma, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and graduated summa cum laude, "With Highest Honors." Amanda is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Oklahoma, with 100% of her practice devoted to State and Federal Court litigation.
