Shirley has been enjoying Georgina her entire life; as a child, she spent summers at the cottage and eventually choose the community as a place of business and permanent residence for the past 24 years. Selling real estate as a career was an easy choice. Her father had been a realtor and she always loved looking at houses, so when it came time to sell the family business; Shirley chose real estate as her new career. She believes that home ownership or investment in real estate is a great way to build financial security and she is proud to be an integral part of the community by helping families build their personal wealth. Shirley is known for her honesty, negotiation skills, area knowledge, integrity and professionalism. Over her years in business, she has worked with all segments of the population and her client list is as diverse as Georgina and the surrounding community itself. She believes in looking at each property with an objective eye and tries to guide her clients in the right direction by not falling for an impulsive purchase. Homes are usually someone’s largest purchase in life and knowing the identifiable shortfalls of the structure is very important so that there are no surprises after closing; however, that being said a home needs constant upkeep and there should be allowances for repairs and updates in every budget. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends or catching the evening sunset from her dock. Shirley also loves nature and enjoys watching the scenery and wildlife change from season to season. She tries to find time to enjoy daily sunsets from her home or swim in the lake on hot summer days. Overall, she tries to appreciate each day for the beauty it brings.
