Holistic Recovery and Healing at Alpha Healing Center Holistic healing is the art and science of healing that addresses care of the whole person-body, mind, and spirit. Alpha Healing Center embraces as its core holistic healing approach. We encourage our guests to have a balanced diet, regular exercise, utilize stress release techniques, express themselves in some form of creative endeavor, gain and maintain a positive self-image, and become involved in spiritual activities. Our trained therapists use a variety of accepted techniques for guests to gain an immersion experience in holistic healing. Ambulatory Opioid Stabilization Program Alpha Healing Center offers an Ambulatory Opioid Stabilization Program and taper if necessary, to treat individuals addicted to opioids ('prescription pain pills' or heroin) in a safe, medically supervised, outpatient setting. Our trained clinicians provide medical stabilization using short-term buprenorphine (Suboxone® or Subutex®) to ease the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms and interrupt compulsive drug use. The stabilization process is integrated with intensive outpatient or partial care treatment to facilitate effective transition into ongoing recovery. Alpha Healing Center is designed to provide comprehensive, intensive treatment for people with substance use disorders. We offer a unique recovery experience that combines state-of-the Art treatments with holistic healing for alcohol and drug addiction. We have created a range of multi-disciplinary partial care, intensive outpatient and outpatient programs for the treatment of substance use disorders. Our innovative model is based on designing an individualized program for our guests integrating evidence-based practices with interventions from Integrative or Holistic Medicine.
