Max McLean is an acclaimed actor and the founder and artistic director of Fellowship for Performing Arts based in New York City. With a distinguished career in theatrical adaptation, McLean has successfully brought several prominent works to the stage, including "The Screwtape Letters," "C.S. Lewis Onstage: The Most Reluctant Convert," "The Great Divorce," "Genesis," and "Mark's Gospel." His creative portfolio extends to writing and producing "Martin Luther on Trial." As a performer, McLean has embodied numerous significant roles, including Screwtape in New York, on national tour, and in London; C.S. Lewis in the nationally touring "The Most Reluctant Convert" which enjoyed an extended 15-week run in New York; Mark in "Mark's Gospel"; and Storyteller in "Genesis." His exceptional talent earned him Chicago theater's highest honor, the Jeff Award, for his performance in "Mark's Gospel." McLean has also received four nominations from the Audio Publishers Association for his narration work on The Listener's Bible. His creative contributions have been recognized by prestigious media outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal, and CNN.
