A Good Friend and Mentor

Our practice was originally established in 1978 by Dr. Bill Gray, DDS, who served the Sherman community whole-heartedly for over 40 years. Dr. Gray was known to provide excellent dental care with integrity and kindness. Dr. Gray retired in early 2019 and has enjoyed spending more time with his family. He remains a good friend and mentor to our dental office.

Comprehensive Exam

Gray Oak Family Dental recommends regular preventive dental services, including a comprehensive dental exam and cleaning, every six months. It is important to identify and treat concerns before more serious problems arise. During your semiannual exams, we check for tooth decay, gum disease and examine your entire mouth, head, and neck area for any abnormalities, including oral cancer.

Skilled Hygienist

Our skilled hygienist will examine your teeth and gums, document any changes in your overall oral health, clean and polish your teeth, and obtain x-rays as needed. The hygienist will answer any questions you have about proper care for your teeth at home and provide information to the dentist.

Dr. Dave Firmage

Dr. Dave Firmage will then conduct a thorough examination of your mouth, head, and neck, review your medical history and X-rays, and discuss additional treatment recommendations if any.
