Mr. David Costa is the founding member of Costa Law Firm. Within a short period of time, David generated a client base that recognizes his unique ability to achieve effective results. He has expanded the firm among specialized associates who together provide a wide range of legal counsel to local and international clients.
Mr. Costa obtained his Canadian law degree from the University of Windsor. He also obtained his American law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Costa Law Firm has developed the skills and experience needed to address the legal concerns of the local community. Mr. Costa leads the Criminal Law Division at the firm. As well, he works with the associates in the Business Law, Municipal Law and Real Estate Law Departments to provide the best service to those wishing to realize their business objectives.
Kowlasar Misir is a lawyer with Costa Law Firm, where he practices in such major areas as criminal, real estate, immigration, and family law. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Common Law program, prior to which he obtained a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Alberta. Kowlasar received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Guyana.
While in law school, Kowlasar served as a teaching assistant for the Dispute Resolution and Professional Responsibility course and participated in the first ever twitter moot competition. Prior to joining Costa Law Firm, Kowlasar worked at such legal placements as Federal Department of Justice in Toronto.
Kowlasar is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Criminal Lawyers’ Association.
Erwin La graduated from York University with Honours B.A, with a double major of History and Political Science. He has worked in the legal field for the past decade. He has experience in a host of different legal areas, with a keen interest in constitutional and criminal law. In his spare time, Erwin is active in local community events and enjoys watching hockey.
