Travel Visa Australia

An ETA allows travellers from ETA eligible countries to visit Australia for tourism and business purposes for up to three months during the 12-month visa validity period.

To qualify for an ETA, applicants must hold a valid passport from an ETA eligible country and be outside Australia at the time of application and the time of grant. However, applicants with a criminal conviction are not able to continue with their ETA application and may be eligible to apply for a different online visitor visa instead.

It is important to ensure that all the personal details provided in your ETA application are exactly as they appear in your passport. If your ETA application contains any errors, it may affect your ability to travel to Australia.

eVisitor Visa

An eVisitor Visa (EVV) allows travellers from EVV eligible countries to visit Australia for tourism and business purposes for up to three months within the 12-month visa validity period.

To qualify for an EVV, applicants must hold an eligible passport and be outside Australia at the time of application and the time of grant. In some cases, applicants may be required to provide additional evidence in order for the Department of Home Affairs to assess their application.
