What We Do!

I am Janyne Kenworthy, a full-time real estate agent and I know Florida and especially the barrier island area of Indian River County, having lived in South Florida in the 80’s and choosing Indian River County's Barrier Island as my new home more than 17 years ago. My expertise and superior knowledge of the area and its real estate has produced a multitude of sales and listings serving both the needs of the buyers and sellers; and successfully participated in over $100 million dollars in sales.

My dedication and concerns for the area show not only in business knowledge and integrity but in my memberships in North Beach Civic Association, Inc. currently serving on the board as treasurer; the Summerplace Improvement Association, Inc. and the Barrier Island Coalition as well as being appointed by the Indian River County Commission to the North Beach Corridor Task Force.

Prior to a full time career in Real Estate, I spent eight years as the Marketing Director and CFO of Great American Automatics, Inc. which laid the ground for sales and marketing tools to achieve success in the real estate sales market and beyond.

I specialize in Barrier Island homes and Mainland homes, condominiums and residential homesites. And from the first year I joined Michael Thorpe Real Estate, Inc., I was selected as "Rookie of the Year" , and have been part of the "Top Producer's Team" for the past nine years, in 2012 received Treasure Coast Sotheby's International Realty 1st Place in Sales Excellence and 1st Place in Listing Excellence. I am a successful, dedicated and trustworthy professional who produces positive results for her clients.
