Americare Hospice & Palliative Care is committed to providing specialized care designed for people in the last phase of an incurable illness. Hospice is not a place, but a concept of care that can be provided wherever the patient considers home. It may be in a residential home, an assisted living facility, or a nursing home. We recognize the unique physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of each person receiving hospice care. Our comprehensive hospice services are provided by an interdisciplinary team of compassionate professionals. Our core team includes home-visiting physicians, skilled hospice nurses, clinical social workers, chaplains, hospice aides, specially-trained volunteers, and grief counselors. We also offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietary consultation, and complementary therapies such as pet, massage, and music therapy.
