Make sure to spray a UV protector (same as a polyurethane clear coat) on the spinner before taking the spinner outside. Weather you purchase a Wind Spinner from us, or buy your Wind Spinner elsewhere all Wind Spinners have a common fault, and that is they will discolor without a UV protector. You may go to any Lawn & Garden Department and ask for a spray to protect your lawn & garden ornaments from fading in the sun. It will only cost one or two dollars per can. Spray your Wind Spinner and other ornaments every spring to ensure they will stay bright & shiny for years to come. Also some of the wind spinners may get flattened a little during shipping. You can reshape your wind spinner by spreading the rings by hand to get even more of a 3-d effect on your wind spinner.
