Ravenswoods Collectables carrys a fine line of African Crafts from Kenya, Zimba. and other African Countries. We have a beautiful selection of handcarved statues, candlestick holders, handcarved from wood napkin rings with Rhino's on top. We have a lovely set of sculptures and statues of Masai Couples, some with dress beads, and others simply handcarved from wood. We carry wooden carved Tribal Mask from Masai, some over 18" high and 8" wide. We carry the couples mask, and Lovers Mask, and Kissing Mask.
One particular handcarved item we carry is the "Tree of Life" This sculpture is handcarved out of a tree branch of a African woman and her childern as they strive to survive. Anyone with a heart will be touched by this carving which stands a full 12" tall.
Another item which we believe is absolutely beautiful, is the Kisii Plate which is over 16" in Dia. This particular plate is handcarved from "Soap Stone" and then painted in beautiful colors. The plate currently in stock is purple and orange, stripped with a tree in the center of the plate, and two Zebras grazing on the plaines.
