Bank Fraud Restitution Lowered from $300,000 to $1800

Joffe and Joffe Law Firm represented a woman charged in a massive check cashing in bank fraud scheme. The woman had been sentenced to a federal prison time in order to pay a large sum of money for restitution by the trial court. Counsel was successful in representing client before United States Court of Appeals in and for the 11th circuit in Atlanta, Georgia. The case was remanded for re-sentencing for less time than client had already served and restitution was lowered from approximately $300,000 to approximately $1800.
