For almost 60 years Smokey Bear has been informing both children and adults about the dangers of forest fires. While Smokey Bear’s slogan for many of those years was “Only you can prevent forest fires”, the slogan has now been changed to face the challenge of the large number of wildfires that erupt in the U.S. every year.
